Set your browser to open the same web pages when you start it to save time. Here’s how in Chrome, Firefox, Vivaldi, Opera, Edge, and Safari.
When you start your browser, you’ll see its version of a start page or the last opened web pages. If you have certain web pages that you visit every time you open your browser, you can easily set those pages to open automatically on separate tabs. One way to browse faster in your browser is to use shortcuts, such as one of the 50 hotkeys we’ve listed that work in most of the major browsers. To really jumpstart your browsing efficiency, let’s look at how to open the same set of web pages every time you start your browser in Chrome, Firefox, Vivaldi, Opera, Edge, and Safari.
How to Open the Same Set of Web Pages Every Time You Start Chrome
To open the same set of web pages every time you start Chrome, here’s what you need to do.
First open the web pages you want on separate tabs.
Then, click the Chrome menu button in the upper-right corner of the window and select Settings.
In the On startup section, select Open a specific page or set of pages. Then, click Use current pages.
NOTE: Depending on the size of your browser window, you may have to click the menu button () in the upper-left corner of the Settings page to access the menu.
All currently open tabs, except the Settings tab, are automatically added under the Open a specific page or set of pages option.
To remove a page from the list, click the three dots to the right of the URL for that page and select Remove.
You can manually add more pages to the list using the Add a new page link. On the Add a new page dialog, enter the URL you want to add and click Add.
You can close the Settings tab.
The next time you open Chrome, your selected web pages will automatically open on separate tabs.

How to Open the Same Set of Web Pages Every Time You Start Safari
You can’t add multiple URLs to your Homepage in Safari on Mac. So, you can’t use that setting to have multiple pages open when Safari starts. But there is a workaround.
Open all the web pages you want to open when Safari starts on separate tabs.
Then, go to Bookmarks > Add Bookmarks for X Open Tabs. The X will be however many tabs you have open.
Select where you want to add the bookmarks folder in the Add this bookmarks folder to drop-down.
Then, enter a name for the folder in the box below the drop-down and click Add.
Now, you must select that bookmarks folder as the set of bookmarks that opens every time Safari starts.
Go to Safari > Settings.
Then, click General on the toolbar and select Choose tabs folder from the New windows open with drop-down.
On the Choose a folder dialog, select the bookmarks folder you created. Then, click Choose.
Close the Settings dialog using the X button in the upper-left corner.
The next time you open Safari, your chosen web pages will automatically open on separate tabs.
Save Time and Be More Productive
Now, you can get down to business faster in whichever browser you use. Your most-used pages will be right there waiting for you when you start your browser. That way, you can dive straight into whatever you need to get done rather than digging through bookmarks to find the web pages you need.
Did the Safari trick; it works, thanks! The only issue I have is my line of work generally requires me to use Private Windows frequently to sign into various tenants of our clients (ie signing into different google accounts, etc) relatively easily since a private window ensures it’s always signed out, but unfortunately I don’t need the Startup bookmarks opening every time with a new private browsing window. Weird qualm to have, but is there any explicit setting or workaround for the startup apps and Private Windows? Thank you
